The truth could be hard to accept sometimes.
We have to face up to reality but sometimes i wonder why i cant live in a fantasy where things go my way.

I wonder why i agree.
I had to ask and now i know.
I wouldn't have wanted to know the truth,
if i knew it would hurt.
I predicted the outcome yet i doubted,
thinking that things would go my way for once.
Living in that fantasy is my dream.
but accepting the truth is the reality.
And that is why people say,
the truth can be hard to accept sometimes.
